The initiative aims to address the pressing challenges of climate change and food insecurity in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Collaborative Effort This ambitious program is the result of a collaborative effort between four key partners:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tigray Bureau of Agriculture (TBoA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tigray Agricultural Research Institute (TARI)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ethiopian Catholic Church Social and Development Commission Adigrat Branch (ECC-SDCOAdB)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addressing Climate Change and Food Insecurity The program will focus on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Climate-Smart Agriculture: Implementing practices that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and build resilience to climate change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved Livelihoods: Empowering smallholder farmers, particularly women, youth, and vulnerable groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhanced Food Security: Increasing agricultural productivity and ensuring year-round food availability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capacity Building: Training farmers and other stakeholders in climate-smart techniques and sustainable practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Brighter Future for Tigray By working together, these partners aim to create a more sustainable and resilient future for the people of Tigray.
